Mr. Prida joined Instagram live on the topic of “Thai craftsmanship and Manufacturing”

  On Friday, July 3, 2020. Mr. Prida Tiasuwan, Board Chairman of Pranda Jewelry Public Company Limited and The Committee of The World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO), was invited by Mr. David Brough, Editor of Jewellery Outlook to join Instagram live on the topic of “Thai craftsmanship and Manufacturing” and the company’s Covdi-19 response plans. In the first phase of the outbreak, Pranda immediately implemented the precautionary measures such as cleaning, washing hands with sanitizer, wearing mask in the company’s area and following social distancing measures to prevent Covid-19. The company also organized a special project ‘Pranda Pantry of Sharing’ to encourage employees to donate and share foods and daily necessities on every Wednesday. The company used online meeting platforms such as ‘Zoom’ and ‘Webinar’ in communicating and exchanging information with one another which increased convenience and reduce travel risks.

Mr. Prida concluded that “Craftsmanship is very important, Thai craftsmanship is beautiful, delicate and unique which has been influenced by religion and the Thai royal family who has always supported Thai jewelry and handicrafts. Thailand also has the Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair to promote Thai craftsmanship and the new technology to produce the products more efficiently.” The live event was at Public Company Limited.
